Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 30, 2026
This page explains how obsdog (the "Site") handles visitor information. The Site does not require registration to read, and it has no fields for contact details such as your name or email address.
Traffic measurement
To help improve the content, the Site may measure how it is viewed using a third-party analytics tool. What is measured is statistical information such as pages viewed, time on page, referrer, and device type; it is not used to identify individuals. How the tool works and handles data is governed by its provider's policy.
Advertising
The Site may use advertising services from third-party vendors, including Google. These vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it to show ads based on your browsing history. If you prefer not to receive personalized ads, you can opt out in Google's Ads Settings. www.aboutads.info explains how to opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies.
What cookies and local storage are used for
The Site uses cookies or the browser's local storage for the following purposes.
- Traffic measurement
- Advertising
- Remembering display preferences such as the light or dark theme
- Remembering your learning log (pages marked as learned, the page you read last) and your practice-exam records (scores, missed questions, bookmarks)
The learning log and practice-exam records are stored only in your browser's local storage on your device and are never sent to the Site's server. You can delete them at any time from the learning log page.
You can refuse these technologies in your browser settings, but some features may then stop working.
Information stored when you submit a form
For the contact form and the article feedback feature, in addition to the text you submit, we temporarily store a value derived from your connection in a form that cannot directly identify it, in order to prevent abuse such as repeated submissions. The feedback feature also stores environment information such as device type, screen size, and language to improve display quality. None of this is used to identify individuals.
Sharing with third parties
Except where required by law, information held by the Site is not provided to third parties. Third-party services for advertising and analytics may collect information automatically through your browser, but this too does not identify individuals.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised as needed. Revisions take effect when posted on this page.
